Wines of Chile names Santa Rita “2016 Winery of the Year”
(December 2016) – Leading U.S. wine importer Palm Bay International and Chilean winery Viña Santa Rita are thrilled to announce that Santa Rita has been named “2016 Winery of Year” by Wines of Chile (WOC) – the Chilean wine industry's official trade organization.
Santa Rita was selected from the organization’s more than 90 associated wineries, an important distinction that reflects Santa Rita’s successful year in the domestic and international markets.
The winery was presented with this honor during WOC’s annual gala, where trade association Chairman Mario Pablo Silva applauded Santa Rita’s commitment and passion for being an ambassador of Chilean wine around the world, as well as, its strong commercial performance and unwavering dedication to sustainability.
This award is added to a host of other distinctions Santa Rita has received in 2016, including being named Wine & Spirits “Value Brand of the Year” and Casa Real Reserva Especial’s recognition as Wine Enthusiast’s “Best Chilean Wine of Vintage 2011” and “Master” title from The Drinks Business.
