A co-fermented blend of 97% Syrah and 3% Viognier, this wine has a bouquet of black cherry, chocolate covered espresso bean and rose petal. It is a nicely crafted wine that offers flavors of blackberry, cranberry, sambuca and sage. Velvety tannins persist through a long lasting finish that is punctuated by bursts of fresh fruit.

VinificationIn the same style as is traditional in the Rhone Valley’s famed Cote Rotie appellation, Viognier grapes are co-fermented with Syrah grapes.
NoseA distinct Syrah nose with black pepper, blackberry fruits and some violets flowers on top.
PalateSoft, yet firm, tannins, well-balanced with ripe fruits and some earthy flavors. All spiced with a light cinnamon and mocha.
Serving SuggestionsDelicious with grilled red meats and hearty stews. Serve slightly cooler than room temperature.
