Light, dry, fresh and juicy rose of Syrah/Mourvedre with notes of cranberry, raspberry and violet.
Cherries and oregano are a pleasantly vibrant combination of aromas for this light salmon colored wine. Steely minerals mix with ripe red berries and fleshy yellow and white peaches for a balanced and almost creamy flavor.
Light as air and fragrant with sour cherry fruit and tea-like herbal notes, this has the beach written all over it.
Gentle watermelon seed and strawberry notes give this a fresh feel, with a light, tea-tinged finish.
Stylistically light with a pale pink color, notes of watermelon, and low in alcohol (12.5%) compared to many Syrah based rosés from southern France. But the wine is nicely balanced and very easy drinking. Served well chilled, this is the perfect quaffing wine for a hot summer day. A 67/33 blend of Syrah and Mourvédre done saigne style.
Crisp and refreshing, with mouthwatering peach and strawberry tones.
Jean-Luc Colombo is the sort of rock star winemaker that inspires controversy among people for whom wine is rock, but our tasters found this blend of 40% Syrah, 40% Mourvedre, and 20% Counoise just perfectly pleasant. It has aromas of rose petals, peaches, and berries that give the impression of sweetness though it's dry and crisp on the palate. It was one taster's overall favorite for its balance and food-friendly qualities.
