Bright straw with golden tinges. Penetrating pear and bay leaf on the nose. Clean and fresh, with mineral herbal nuances complementing white stone fruit flavors. Finishes long with a slightly chewy texture and a clean fresh finish. This is one of the best, most flavorful young entry-level Torbato wines I have ever tasted.
Pale, bright yellow color. Lemon, grapefruit, white flowers and a hint of pungent herbs on the nose. Bright and juicy in the mouth, offering simple but clean flavors of grapefruit, lemon, oregano and talc. Finishes firm and citrussy, with modest length. Still, this delivers considerable flavor for only 11.5% alcohol.
Vibrant and elegant, this refreshing, mineral-driven white offers aromas of white spring flower, ripe orchard fruit and citrus blossom. Bright acidity frames the juicy pear, apple and flint flavors, while the crisp finish closes on a saline note. This is a fantastic wine from a grape grown only at the Sella & Mosca estate in Sardinia
This is a landmark wine for Sardinia that shows the amazing potential of the indigenous Torbato white grape. There's amazing freshness here, and brightness with an incredibly vibrant quality of citrus and stone fruit. A mineral accent on the nose completes this very pretty picture.
...gorgeous layers of juicy peaches, sage, mint, licorice and floral-infused honey. It possesses marvelous depth and polish to match its classy personality.
