Big Bamboo cocktail in tiki wave mug - Dos Maderas

ingredients

  • 1 oz / 45ml Dos Maderas 5+3
  • 0.5 oz / 15ml Dos Maderas 5+5
  • 0.5 oz / 15ml lime juice
  • 0.5 oz / 15ml orange juice
  • 0.5 oz / 15ml grapefruit juice
  • 0.5 oz / 15ml passion fruit syrup
  • 2 dashes Angostura bitters
  • 1/2 cup of crushed ice
  • Fresh mint garnish

directions

  • Prepare Passion Fruit Syrup: Combine equal parts cane sugar and hot water, cool, then blend with equal parts passion fruit purée.
  • Juice the Fruits: Juice half a lime, half an orange, and half a grapefruit.
  • Shake: Add the prepared syrup, all fruit juices, and cracked ice to a shaker; shake for 10 seconds.
  • Strain and Serve: Double-strain into a chilled Collins glass or ceramic Tiki mug with crushed ice.
  • Garnish: Top with freshly rubbed mint leaves and serve with a reusable straw.
