Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte France’s Favorite Champagne
Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte is a Champagne of visionaries and the ultimate, authentic success story.
Founded nearly 50 years ago, they quickly secured their place as the best-selling Champagne in France (where they know a thing or two about fine bubbly) and are currently ranked as the third best-selling Champagne in the world.*
Deeply rooted in the Champagne grower community, their origin story centers around two entrepreneurs who believed that quality derives from the strength of union … and that Champagne is not just for formal occasions.
It all began when Henri Macquart, pioneering founder of the Centre Vinicole de la Champagne, met the dynamic Nicolas Feuillatte as volunteer winegrowers. Out of their shared passion for Champagne, a daring idea formed — to create a new brand of excellence, an upstart that knit together the tapestry of Champagne’s finest terroirs through an unrivaled network of heritage growers. Empowered by (and headquartered at) Henri’s Vinicole, Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte was founded in 1976, in the heart of the Côte des Blancs.
Today, Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte comprises 5,000 member growers across the entire Champagne appellation — accounting for one in three growers in the region — and spans the Côte des Blancs, the Côte de Bar, Montagne de Reims, and the Vallée de la Marne, including 11 of the region’s 17 Grands Crus and 26 of its 42 Premiers Crus.
From this rare breadth of grapes, and thanks to the keen oversight of chief winemaker Guillaume Roffiaen, they have developed an approach and house style that is wholly unique.
As the only house in Champagne to have five different vintages of reserve wine for each grape variety, they are able to apply extreme precision and consistency in their blending process. The resulting cuvées are not only highly drinkable, they are unabashedly easy going no matter the occasion.
Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte’s trademark style is vibrant, fresh, and elegant with a joyful, fruit-forward verve and serious length. It is a truly distinctive profile for Champagne, brought to life through an unparalleled collaboration that unifies Champagne’s myriad terroirs ... creating a wine so special, it’s become the go-to favorite for consumers in France and here in the United States.

Growers United
Nicolas Feuillatte's success built upon the strength of its cooperative model (unique in Champagne), which cultivates the values of collective commitment and solidarity, willingness to innovate, and a daring spirit. The collective is 5,000 growers strong — 2,100 hectares / 5,189 acres in total, stretching from the Vallée de la Marne to the Côte des Bar, via the Massif de Saint-Thierry, Montagne de Reims, Côte de Sézanne, and the Vallée de l’Ardre.
Fruit from 11 of the 17 Grands Crus vineyards, 26 of 42 Premiers Crus and 145 of the remaining 260 crus in the appellation comprise Nicolas Feuillatte’s wines.
From early on, mindful farming has been at the core of Nicolas Feuillate. Since 1998, the Centre Vinicole Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte has provided their member growers viticultural technical advice, aiming to help them develop ever-more sustainable methods of cultivating their vines. The Centre also organizes an annual “Vignoble et Qualité” day, a deep-dive educational session on sustainable viticulture; they also offer 50 training courses in the practice of High Environmental Value (HEV) viticulture, a certification that has since been awarded to 500 of their cooperative members.
