Background

Noble Tree was originally founded as a passion project by two sommeliers/restaurateurs to produce wines for their fellow industry friends. Production began as a true “garagistes-négociant” style winery, focusing on healthy vineyard sources, hand harvesting and honest winemaking practices. In 2019, Marc Taub of Taub Family Vineyards became proprietor of Noble Tree, upholding the mission and essence of the winemaking philosophy: to respect varietal character and reflect the vineyard site and vintage conditions in each wine.

TERROIR & VINTAGE NOTES

Harvested at 24.5 brix, this wine was sorted, 18% whole clusters were included, and cold soaked for five days. During its three week fermentation, gentle punchdowns were performed twice a day each day to ensure bright aromatics and a refreshing palate. This wine is aged for ten months in neutral French oak.

Tasting Notes

A very clean iteration of a classic Russian River Valley Pinot Noir. The nose offers bright, fresh raspberry, rose, and a hint of stone-ground cinnamon. The surprisingly luscious palate displays strawberry, pomegranate, and violet. The wine finishes with a hint of vanilla, subtle tannins with a bright and satisfying acidity.
