Sicily is a sun-kissed territory with microclimates comprised of different soils, a variety of exposures and elevations, and different sea breezes and sun exposures. Wide diurnal temprature variations result in guaranteed ripeness and freshness, and wines of impressive depth and concentration.
The grapes are harvested mid-September. The wine is aged in French oak barriques for 3-4 years.
Intense ruby red. Ripe plum. Full bodied with a touch of peppery spice.
